Gander Beta Process

Beta sites have the greatest opportunity to influence the final implementation of features and to identify critical problems with the best chance of early resolution. Your active participation as a core site will be essential to our goal of delivering an outstanding product line. The goals of each beta release are to collect your assessment of the overall feature set, to get your opinion on the implementation of each feature, and to begin identifying bugs which occur in your use of the product and in your environment.

Customers are selected to become Beta Sites based upon their interest, willingness, and ability to provide timely information. Beta Sites provide product feedback throughout the development process until the final release.

All customer problems, issues, enhancement requests, and suggestions are reported to the Beta Team and escalated to the appropriate development staff. Regular contact with CoAudit via bug reports, weekly summaries, and questionnaires is encouraged.

Beta Sites are selected on the basis of background information obtained from discussions with you about your project scope and testing environment. This information is necessary to select sites that are best suited for each beta program. This information is not used for any purpose other than your evaluation for this or any future beta program with CoAudit.

Along the way, we welcome any additional communication you would like to offer eg if you want to send in your comments about the software or support as well as any wishlist items you may have. Additionally, at the end of the beta we would like to schedule a review process with the relevant management to summarise how the process and product testing went.

If the beta program is successful and if it is agreeable with your management we may even ask you to interview with the industry press or provide quote(s) that could be used in an advertising campaign or web site. CoAudit will sign any nondisclosure agreement or confidentiality agreements as required plus we would ask your management to sign our nondisclosure agreement to cover any external third party communication until the software is formally released.
